I am a retired Ontario Nurse Practitioner with over 40 years nursing experience. My skills during this time have ranged from clinical work to Nurse Education.

I have worked extensively in the community with families, including marginalized and at-risk youth; and have worked as a Consultant for the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care Northern Health Programs.

Currently I own and run Sima Health Consultancy, which focuses on youth mental health literacy. I remain passionate about health promotion and illness prevention, especially in youth mental health and have authored two resource books on youth mental health promotion.
